(1) engine oil filter
4. remove the oil filter behind the
cooling fan on the right side of the
engine.
5. Apply a thin film of oil to the O-ring
of a new filter and tighten the
O-ring firmly by hand.
6. Fill the engine oil to the specified
level and tighten the oil filler cap.
7. run the engine for approx. 5 min-
utes to deliver oil to each part.
8. engine oil light should go off after
10 seconds of running. if the oil
pressure light stays on, stop the
engine.
9. check the engine oil level again
with the oil dipstick. if the level is
low, add more oil.

The engine oil is very hot
while the engine is running
or right after the engine is
stopped. Be careful not to be
burned.
Avoid oil contact while chang-
ing or adding engine oil and
wear eye protection to prevent
eye contact.

The engine oil filter should be
replaced when changing the en-
gine oil.

NOTE
Prolonged and repeated con -
tact with the engine oil may
cause skin disorders and
skin cancer. If skin contact is
made, wash thoroughly with
soap or hand cleaner as soon
as possible.
Keep the used oil out of reach
of children.
It is required to use CJ4 grade
engine oil as this tractor is
equipped with the NOx emis -
sion control system.
Using low quality engine oil
can damage the after treat-
ment system.
