ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT
The key to the alarms, shown on the display of the “Pumps Controller” electronic control unit, is also included
in the adhesive plate affixed to the control unit (as indicated in the figure on page 41).

AL 1
Pumps maintenance alarm
Appears on exceeding the hours set in the parameter:
Pumps
Maintenance Intervention.
AL 2
Parameters error alarm
Appears when, in the SetPoint Pressure parameter, a value is set that
is higher than the one inserted in the Danger Pressure parameter.
AL 4
Broken sensor general alarm
Appears when the sensor is absent, no longer connected.

AL8P3
AL8P4
Pumps thermal alarm
(AL8xx, where xx indicates
the pump in thermal alarm
status)
Appears when the thermal protectors of the pump motors intervene.
AL 32
Danger pressure alarm
Appears when the system pressure exceeds the pressure set in the
parameter:

AL 64
Minimum level alarm
Appears when the minimum pressure switch or the float, connected
to terminals 5 – 6, intervenes.

Water lack pre-alarm
Appears when the pressure falls to a value lower than the value set
in the parameter:

The control unit makes 3 attempts to self-reset the protection and
blocks at the fourth attempt with manual reset.
The protection intervention times are 1 minute each.
In the first 3 interventions of the protection the message H2O ?
appears, at the fourth attempt the message AL 64 appears.
WAIT
Appears when the pump starting time is shorter than that set in the
parameters:
Cnt.Strt.Pilot / Cnt.Strt.P2P3P4
Attention: several alarms present are indicated one at a time.
