To reveal the drive bay and to inspect the air ﬁ lter undo the two thumb screws on the front of the d3 unit (1 & 2)

* The 4x4pro comes with 4x SSD drives. The 4x2pro comes with 2x SSD drives. For more info on hard drive conﬁ guration see pro.d3technologies.com

You should regularly inspect the air ﬁ lter on the front of the unit to prevent loss of cooling eﬃ ciency. To remove the air ﬁ lter material, ﬁ rst remove the screws from

the ﬁ lter housing marked as in the diagram above. Give the ﬁ lter a clean, replace the ﬁ lter in the metal frame and reattach the ﬁ lter brace
