TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Water tank definition:
•
The purpose of the water tank is to provide running hot water.
•
The water tank does not require the use of a buoy because it is connected directly to the urban water network.
•
The water tank has been submitted to hydraulic pressure tests of 10 bars in situations of urban water
network pressure.
•
The water tank insulation is polyurethane and preserves the heat.
•
The water tank lid has an electrostatic covering with powder paint to prevent rusting.
•
In the event of a rise in pressure, the safety discharge valve reduces the pressure.
•
The interior tank in laminate steel suitable for enamel covering and special pipe worm receives this
even coat of enamel in a rust enamel factory.
•
To avoid the formation of rust in the tank, magnesium anode is used for additional protection.
The are three different methods for heating the water in the tanks:
1-
Worm
:
Each tank has its own worm in a size depending on the capacity. The hot water circulates through the
worm connected to the solar or tank system and enables the cold water to heat in the tank. The sizes of the con-
nections of the water tank are provided in the table of technical characteristics.
2-
Surround:
All water tanks have their own surrounding wall, the size of which depends on the capacity. The hot
water circulates through the wall connected to the solar or tank system, and enables the water to heat in the
tank. The sizes of the connections of the water tank are provided in the table of technical characteristics.
3-
Optional tank heating element:
A 2 kW element is used for heating and additional defrosting.
Tanks storing water at 30-45 °C are focal points of bacterial reproduction. To prevent this reproduction, the stored water must
be kept at a temperature of at least 55 °C. Generally, when the temperature of the water tanks and heating siphons is 55 °C,
the cold water inlet is still at a low temperature and causes bacteria formation. However, the special design of the worm in
our water tanks allows the cold water inlet temperature to be at 55°C or more.
