BATTERY OPERATION
1. Pull out the small rubber plug on the underside of the collar box
which is protecting the charging receptacle.
2. Connect the AC Adapter to the charging receptacle.
3. Plug the AC Adapter into any standard 115V household type
electrical outlet.
*Never recharge the battery in a hazardous place.*
*Never expose the AC Adapter to water.*
4. Recharge the battery for approximately 10 hours.
5. For long term storage it is necessary to charge the battery for four-
teen hours once every 4 - 6 weeks.
CAUTION
Leaving the AC Adapter plugged in to the unit for longer than 4 days (96
hours) can cause severe damage to the battery. It is
recommended that you do not leave the unit plugged in any longer than the
10 - 14 hours it takes to charge the unit.
When the sub LED light on the display changes to a rapid blink
(twice a second) the battery is low and requires charging. Follow
these steps to charge the battery:
NOTE
The battery was partially charged prior to shipment. It is necessary,
however, to charge the battery for 15-20 hours before initial use.
