DES-3500 Layer 2 Fast Ethernet Switch CLI Reference Manual

config stp

txholdcount <1-10> - The maximum number of BPDU Hello packets
transmitted per interval. Default value = 6.

fbpdu [enable | disable]

−

Allows the forwarding of STP BPDU packets

from other network devices when STP is disabled on the Switch. The
default is enable.

Restrictions

Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.

Example usage:

To configure STP with maxage 18 and maxhops of 15:
