The

directed-broadcast

interface configuration command enables the translation of a directed broadcast to

physical broadcasts. To disable this function, use the no form of this command.

Syntax

directed-broadcast

no directed-broadcast

Default Configuration

Disabled, all IP directed broadcasts are dropped.

Command Mode

IP Interface Configuration mode

User Guidelines

There are no user guidelines for this command.

Examples

The following example enables the translation of directed broadcasts to physical broadcasts on IP interface
1.0.0.1.

Note

The command is only valid when the device is in Router mode.
