WOLRDWIDE 802.11 MARKET GREW 21% IN Q4-01 ACCORDING TO DELL’ORO GROUP
According to research firm the Dell'Oro Group, the Wireless LAN 802.11 market (including 802.11a and
802.11b) grew 21% Q/Q with revenues of $363.3 million in Q4-01. D-Link was ranked as the fourth largest
vendor in this market with the largest percentage of Q/Q growth at 44% for Q4-01. The low-end or SOHO
focused vendors drove the bulk of the growth in the market during the seasonably strong fourth quarter. For
the year, the 802.11b market more than doubled to $1.2 billion.

NETWORKWORLD SHOWCASES THE NEW D-LINK WIRELESS INTERNET CAMERA
The D-Link DCS-1000W was recently highlighted in the “Cool Tools” section of NetworkWorld. The article
made note of the cameras flexibility saying “the DCS-1000W has a very cool 802.11b wireless feature so
you can place the camera in spots where standard Ethernet cabling can't reach."
"The camera also has built-in automatic gain control and white balancing, so there's no need to tweak
settings on the camera."
