DWL-G820 Install Guide
Using the Setup Wizard
The log-in pop-up screen
will appear.
Type
admin
for the user
n a m e a n d l e a ve t h e
password fi eld blank.
Connect a standard Ethernet cable from the DWL-G820 to an Ethernet
port on the computer that will be used to confi gure the DWL-G820.
You must assign your computer a static IP address within the same
range as the IP address of the DWL-G820. The DWL-G820’s default
IP address is
192.168.0.35
with a Subnet Mask of 255.255.255.0. See
the Appendix if you need assistance in assigning a static IP address
for your network adapter.
Open your Web browser and
type
http://192.168.0.35
into
the URL address box. Then
press the Enter or Return key.

Wireless Router/Access Point Users: If you are using the
default SSID and channel settings, the DWL-G820 will connect right out
of the box. No confi guration is needed! Simply connect the hardware
as shown on pages 6-7.
The DWL-G820 must be connected directly to your computer for
confi guration. You cannot confi gure this device if it is connected
to a hub or router.
