Creating Two Connections on One Channel
VDSL WAN Connections
In some cases, it is necessary to assign two WAN connections (of the Bridge/Static IP/Dynamic IP
type) to one virtual channel.
For example, your ISP provides the IPTV service. You need to configure a WAN connection of the
Bridge type for the set-top-box connected to the LAN 2 port of the router and a WAN connection of
Dynamic IP type for the computer connected to the LAN 3 port of the router and the laptop
connected to the wireless interface of the router.
To configure the router, follow the steps below:
1. Go to the
Net / WAN
page and click the
Add
button.
2. Select the
Bridge
value from the
Connection Type
drop-down list.
3. Select the
VDSL PTM
value from the
Interface
drop-down list.
4. In the
VLAN
section, select the
Allow to create several connections assigned to
this port
checkbox.
5. Click the
Save
button.
6. Click the
Add
button again.
7. Select the
Dynamic IP
value from the
Connection Type
drop-down list.
8. Select the
VDSL PTM
value from the
Interface
drop-down list.
9. In the
VLAN
section, select the
Allow to create several connections assigned to
this port
checkbox.
10. Click the
Save
button.
