INTERFACES-BACKUP CONFIG

Click on

Interface > Backup Config

to get the

Backup config

web page

as shown below:

This Web Page is used to configure primary and backup relation between
WAN interfaces of router. Following are the descriptions of the fields on
this page:

Backup Mode:

1. Disable

- No backup activity will be done for this interface.

2. Auto

- If the primary interface goes down, the backup interface

configured for this will be connected automatically. In addition to this, all
features pertaining to the backup interface will be applied automatically.

3. Manual

- If primary interface goes down, backup interface won't be

connected automatically. If user connects the backup manually all the
features like NAT, Virtual Server and Static routes pertaining to this
backup interface will be automatically configured.

Backup Interface:

This interface will be configured as backup interface

for the primary.
