4-1 Troubleshooting

If your DPH-130S IP phone is not working properly or not responding, don’t panic! Before

you contact your dealer for help, please check this troubleshooting list. You may be able to

solve the problem yourself.

Scenario Solution

The LCD display is

blank or shows odd,

malformed text.

Check the connection between the power

connector the of A/C adapter and the

phone. Make sure it is securely connected.

Plug the A/C adapter into a wall power

outlet if it’s not already plugged in.

Check the status of the power outlet,

maybe it is not powered.

Disconnect the A/C adapter and reconnect

it again after about 10 seconds.

Press the

[Speaker]

button on the phone

or lift the handset. If you hear a dial tone,

please return the phone to your dealer.

If you just tried to upgrade your firmware

and you see malformed text on the LCD

display, contact your dealer for assistance.

Contact your dealer if the solutions above

don’t work.
