The DDNS feature allows you to host a server (Web, FTP, Game Server, etc…) using a domain name that you have
purchased (www.whateveryournameis.com) with your dynamically assigned IP address. Most broadband Internet
Service Providers assign dynamic (changing) IP addresses. Using a DDNS service provider, your friends can enter
your domain name to connect to your server no matter what your IP address is.
Select
Enable or Disable.
Select a DDNS Server from the combo box
on the right hand-side, or alternatively type
in the server address manually.
Enter your fully qualified Host Name in this
field.
Enter the username or key provided by your
service provider. If the Dynamic DNS provider
supplies only a key, enter that key in three
fields.
Enter your DDNS password or key.
Re-type the password or key provided by
your service provider. If the Dynamic DNS
provider supplies only a key, enter that key
in the three fields.
Displays your DDNS status.
