Step 8: If you want the extended wireless network to have the same network name (SSID)
and password as the uplink network, select the
Same as Wi-‐Fi Network Name
, which is
displayed above next to
Wi-‐Fi Network Name
.
If you want to specify different sedngs for the extended network, select the
Create a new
Wi-‐Fi Network Name
radio bucon. Next, enter the desired network name in the field
provided and specify addi=onal sedngs such as the
Channel Width
and
Visibility Status
. You
will also need select a wireless security method from the
Security Mode
drop-‐down menu,
and enter the desired wireless password in the
Pre-‐Shared Key
field.
Click
Save SeCngs
to save the current configura=on.
