Upgrade Firmware from TFTP Server

Note:

The TFTP server must be on the same IP subnet as the Switch.

The following figure and table describe how to update the Switch’s firmware from a server.

– The IP address of the TFTP server.

Path and File Name

– The full file name, including path, of the new firmware file on the TFTP server.

Download Configuration File from TFTP Server

A configuration file can be downloaded from a TFTP server to the Switch. This file is then used by the Switch to configure

itself.
