Purpose

To define the name for the Switch.

Syntax

config sysname <string 20>

Description

The

config sysname

command defines the name of the Switch.

Parameters

<string 20>

- A maximum of 20 characters is allowed.

Restrictions

Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.

Example usage:

To configure the Switch name as ‘28ME’:

Purpose

To define the login timout for the Switch.

Syntax

Description

minutes.

Restrictions

Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.

Example usage:
