The following fields can be set:
Parameter Description
VLAN Name
This is the VLAN Name that, along with the VLAN ID, identifies the VLAN the user wishes to
modify the MLD Snooping Settings for.
VID (2-4094)
This is the VLAN ID that, along with the VLAN Name, identifies the VLAN the user wishes to
modify the MLD Snooping Settings for.
State
Use the drop-down menu to toggle between
Enabled
and
Disabled.
Replace Source IP
Enter an IP address that new IP address to be used.
Member Port
(e.g.:1,6)
Select the ports that will be members of the Multicast VLAN. (Eg. Ports 1 to 4 and port 6)
Source Port
(e.g.:1,6)
Select the source Port for the Multicast VLAN.
Tagged Member
Port (e.g.:1-4,6)
Select the ports that will be tagged as members of the VLAN.
To modify an entry click the corresponding
Modify
button. To remove an entry click the corresponding
Delete
button.
Multicast Forwarding
The following figure and table describe how to set up
Multicast Forwarding
on the switch.
To view this window, click
Switch Configuration > Forwarding & Filtering > Multicast Forwarding
as shown
below:

The following parameters can be set:
Parameter Description
VID
The VLAN ID of the VLAN to which the corresponding MAC address belongs.
Multicast MAC
Address
The MAC address of the static source of multicast packets. This must be a multicast MAC
address.
Port Settings
Allows the selection of ports that will be members of the static multicast group and ports
either that are forbidden from joining dynamically, or that can join the multicast group
dynamically, using GMRP. The options are:
None
– No restrictions on the port dynamically joining the multicast group. When None is
chosen, the port will not be a member of the Static Multicast Group.
Egress
– The port is a static member of the multicast group.
Click
Apply
to implement the changes made. To delete an entry in the Static Multicast Forwarding Table, click the
corresponding
Delete
button. All the entries will be shown on the lower half of the
Multicast Forwarding Table
window.
