Serial Port Setting

Use the

Serial Port Setting

window to console serial port setting, config Baud Rate and Auto Logout setting.

To view this window, click

System Configuration

Serial Port Settings

as shown below:

The following fields can be set:

Parameter

Description

Baud Rate

Select the baud rate used for the console serial port.

Auto Logout

To configure console logout time, choose 2, 5, 10, 15 minutes or never logout from the pull-down
menu.

Web Settings

Web-based management is

Enabled

by default. If you choose to disable this by selecting

Disabled

, you will lose the

ability to configure the system through the web interface as soon as these settings are applied.

To view this menu, click the

Web Settings

link in the Quick Configuration menu as shown below:
