Section 3 - Configuration
Filter
The Access Control filter section can be used to filter
network access by machines based on the unique MAC
addresses of their network adapter(s). It is most useful to
prevent unauthorized wireless devices from connecting
to your network. A MAC address is a unique ID assigned
by the manufacturer of the network adapter.
Access Control
List:
MAC Address:
When
Disabled
is selected, MAC addresses
are not used to control network access. When
Enabled
is selected, only computers with MAC
addresses listed in the MAC Address List are
granted network access.
Click the
Add
button to add the new MAC
address to be filtered. Filtered MAC addresses
will be listed in the section below.
Current.Client.Information
This section shows currently connected clients,
and gives you the option to add them to the
MAC address access control list
