Logging Measurements Directly in CygLink
You can use CygLink to log the displayed topside thickness
measurements into a Survey so they can be presented in the
Survey report.
Clicking the
Log
button next to the thickness measurement.
CygLink will first ask you to create a new Group. Further clicks of
the
Log
button will then add each thickness measurement to this
Group. There is no limit to the amount of measurements that can
be added to each Group.
Create new Survey Group Record dialog
Linear or Grid Data Logging
When you use CygLink to data log measurements you can choose
to create a Linear list of measurements or a two-dimensional Grid
of measurements.
To create a Grid simply edit the
Record Type
field in the
Survey
Group Details
and set it to
Grid
, you can then specify the
direction the measurements will be taken in
Grid Type
, and the
number of
Rows
and
Columns
.
Reference and Minimum Thickness Criteria
You can set a Reference Thickness and Minimum Thickness for
each survey Group in the
Survey Group Details
screen. This will
be applied to all measurements in the Group.
