What is the use of Diagnostic Tools?
Diagnostic tools can be used to identify appliance related problems and aid the administrator to
take corrective action.
To use NetGenie diagnostic tools:
1. Login to NetGenie using administrator credentials.

Network Settings
Diagnostics
page
.

3. Use the required tool:
Ping:
Use to
Ensure if the host computer is reachable or not Check the time lag for the round trip for
the message
Get the IP address of a domain name
Check for packet loss
To use Ping
,
select the Interface to use, enter the IP Address or Host name in the Ping
Section and click “Ping”.
