C - Battery Door 

 

Please review this section to prevent false alarms being reported to your technical staff. 
 
The NB series products have a built-in safety feature that only allows the battery to be 
charged and discharged when the door associated with that battery is closed.  This 
includes: 

 

1)  Charging and discharging the battery 
2)  Powering ON by the battery 
3)  Detection of the battery 

 

If all doors are open during battery operation, the system will shutdown and data may 
be lost. Therefore, Cybernet recommends users to open one battery door at a time 
during hot swap battery replacement. Please avoid opening all of the battery doors 
during battery operation. Please note that if the unit is connected to the power adapter, 
the unit will remain ON even if all of the battery doors are open.
