Offhook Test:

If this mode is inadvertently entered, press the activation button until the arrow is
displayed, and then press the lower recessed button to return to the device setup mode.
Exit:
To exit the device setup and shutdown the device, press the activation button when this
options is selected.
Alternatively, you may shutdown the device at any time (during normal operation or in
setup mode), by pressing and holding down the activation button for at least 1 second.
Status Messages:
The following status messages may appear on the MedStar display during normal
operation and may be accompanied by short, high-frequency audio beeps to confirm
different stages of successful operation. They require no action.
Message Description
Dialing
MedStar is dialing phone number for connection to Data
Collection Server
Line Busy
Phone line is Busy. MedStar will wait several minutes and
attempt to try again. After several attempts it will shutdown
and store data for transmission with the next collection.
No Data to Transmit
MedStar has no collected data to transmit. It will shutdown
without attempting to dial the Data Collection Server
