7.8 Shut-down
7.9 Machine in safe conditions for various operations
Setting the machine in safe conditions means making it impossible to start or carry out any movement whenever it is necessary
to intervene directly on it or on its parts, for example for cleaning, maintenance, etc.
To set the machine in safe conditions:
Machine shut-down (see par. 7.8).
Disconnect the piping for feeding the pneumatic system from the pneumatic connection point of the pressure regulator
unit (see par. 5.7.2).
7.9.1 Safely restarting the machine
To restart the machine:
Restore the pneumatic connection (see par. 5.7.2).
Switch on the machine (see par. 7.1 and 7.2).
The machine is switched off by setting the main electrical switch with the indicator light off. (see par. 6.2).
Machine shut-down can only occur after the upper roller has cooled down.
Stopping rotation of the two rubber heating rollers while the upper roller is still hot may damage it, as it tends to
become oval-shaped.
