Vibration
Fans are controlled before leaving the factory and pass the vibration and
balancing test.However they may be exposed to more vibration can tolerate
due to the late installation and irregular maintenance services.
The fans are designed to operate in a certain amount of vibration values. As
a result of exceeding these values can cause permanent damage to the fan
or can cause uncomfortable and noisy working.Vibration can be understood
with visible movements and with sounds. Vibration usually transmitted to the
main body through the bearings. Therefore, vibration measurements should
be made close to this point of bearings. Measurement points should be
more. Thus, the location of the mechanical failures are detected more easily.
Measurements made from the propellers bed provides information about
propeller balancing. Measurements made on the side of the bearings give
information about general condition of the fan. Joint fittings and ports are
not suitable places for measurement.
