The following igure shows a simpliied section of the device with the paper path and the distances (in millimetres) between
the alignment sensors, the print head and the cutter (cutting line).

To deine the alignment point you need to set the setup parameters that compose the numerical value of the parameter
“Black mark distance” (see chapter 6 ).
For example, to set a black mark distance of 15 mm, the parameters must be set on the following values:
Black mark distance sign : +
Black mark distance [mm x 10] : 1
Black mark distance [mm x 1] : 5
Black mark distance [mm x .1] : 0
The “Black mark distance” parameter, may be modiied as follows:
• during the setup procedure of the device (see chapter 6 );
• by commands (refer to the commands manual of the device);
•
by ile (see
paragraph 6.3 );
• by software (see paragraph 6.2 ).
