10.5 Security settings
You can set your phone security features from the options menu, in order to avoid your
phone or SIM card being illegally used. See following paragraphs.
SIM card 1 or SIM card 2 security settings
• PIN lock: according to the setting chosen, you may need to enter PIN lock
password when turning on your phone, otherwise you will not be able to use the
SIM card. When set, all you need to enter is the correct PIN. After three input
errors, you will be required to enter the SIM card PUK code (individual unlock
code). The PUK code is used to solve and change the SIM card PIN if locked. If
you lost the SIM card PUK code or should this be missing, please contact your
network operator.
• Change PIN: this function can be used to change the mobile phone SIM card
PIN code.
• Change PIN2 code: this function can be used to change the mobile phone SIM
card PIN2 code.
