3 BASIC FUNCTIONS
3.1 Standby interface
When the phone is in the main network area, it will automatically select its main network
connection. If it is outside this network, the mobile phone will use another network using
the roaming function, if this is included in the agreement with your network operator.
When the network operator’s logo appears on the screen, you can dial or answer calls.
3.2 Making a phone call
There are several ways you can make a phone call:
• In standby mode, press the [key of numeric keypad] and enter the phone number
directly (if required, this should be combined with the country/region code and
area code) to dial the number and make a call.
• In standby mode, press the call key to select and dial a phone number from the
list of recent calls.
• In standby mode, press and hold [key of numeric keypad] “2” to “9” for quickly
dialling the numbers assigned to number keys.
