Read all of Section B and this section before attempting any procedure. Pay particular attention to Notices, Cautions, Warnings and Dangers.
The front seat frame (2) may now be lifted vertically and
removed.
Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly.
Nuts (5) are to be tightened to 12 - 15 ft. lbs. (16.3 - 20.3
Nm) torque.
It is recommended that new lock nuts be used.
Apply thread locking sealant to the washer head bolts (1)
and tighten to 14 - 18 ft. lbs (19 - 24 Nm) torque.
Torx head bolts (6) are to be tightened to 21 - 25 ft. lbs.
(28 - 34 Nm) torque.
Mid Support Removal

Remove bolt and nut attached to front end of fuel tank.
Remove the horn (1) and the fuel pump (2) gas vehicle
only) from the mid support (3) (Ref. Fig. 15).

Remove the two horizontal bolts, washers and lock nuts
(4, 5 & 6) securing the battery rack (7) to the mid support
(3) (electric vehicle only). Remove the two washer head
bolts (8) securing the mid support (3) to the vehicle frame
cross member and lift out the mid support.
Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly. Refer to
TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS in Section ‘A’ for appropriate
values.
When tightening the fuel pump mounting bolts (gas vehi-
cles only), tighten just enough to secure the plastic fuel
pump housing. Do not over tighten.
Nuts (6) are to be tightened to 12 - 15 ft. lbs. (16 - 20 Nm)
torque.
Apply thread locking sealant to the washer head bolts (8)
and tighten to 14 - 18 ft. lbs (16 - 20 Nm) torque.
It is recommended that new lock nuts be used.
Rear Bed Bracket Removal

Remove the two vertical bolts, four washers and two lock
nuts (1, 2 & 3) securing the two rear bed brackets (4) and
remove from rear of vehicle (Ref. Fig. 16).

Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly. Nuts (3) are to
be tightened 14 - 18 ft. lbs. (19.0 - 24.0 Nm) torque.
It is recommended that new lock nuts be used.
