Egg room: how it works
Egg service rooms can be created for any poultry site. Like all other service rooms, there is no limit to the
number of egg rooms you can create per site. Egg rooms are used to count the eggs from layers and
breeders, and make sure the eggs are kept at the right temperature and humidity level.
The following three sensors can be configured in an egg room:
• Temperature probe
• Relative humidity
• Water meter
You must therefore have access to alarms, probe assignation and setup to configure an egg room.
Egg room heating
Heaters used in egg rooms are just like all other heaters in the system, the same equipment list is used
and probes must be assigned to heaters. The only restriction is the control mode - fixed offset on set point
is the only control mode allowed in an egg room.
Egg room cooling
Egg coolers works exactly reverse as heaters.
