Warning:
Children are often unaware of
the dangers involved with
electrical appliances. The kettle
should therefore always be
kept out of their reach.
Filling with water:
Remove kettle from base. Only
use clean water. Fill the kettle
by opening the lid. The
maximum amount is marked
on the measuring scale.
Important: do not use the
kettle to boil milk, drinks or
other liquids except water.
Using for the first time:
Rinse the kettle before using for
the first time. Connect to an
AC power supply. Ensure that
the mains voltage complies
with specifications on the type
plate.
Operating Instruction
Caution:
This appliance is not intended
for use by persons (including
children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given
supervision or instruction
concerning use of the
appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
Boiling:
Place the filled kettle on the
base so that the contact pins
fit into the socket.
Close the lid, Plug the kettle
into the power supply and slide
the switch up to start.
To switch off the kettle
The kettle can be switched off
at any time by sliding the
switch down.
Automatic cut-out:
A few seconds after the water
as reached boiling point, the
automatic cut-out switches
off the kettle.
Pouring water:
Pull out the plug, lift the kettle
from the base and pour.
