7.7 Automatic mode complete recovery and vacuum operation (AUTOMATIC
PROCEDURE)
-This procedure allows the following operations to be carried out in sequence:
-Gas recovery, recovered oil discharge, vacuum phase and vacuum seal check with pre-
programmed, invariable times for each operation respect to the manual mode.
•
Instructions for carrying out operations.
Use the SEL key to select REC-VACUUM indicated by a lateral led light, open the two HP-LP
valves (If the vehicle has two terminal service connections) and press the OK key.
-Once the complete operation cycle has been terminated, “four zeros” (0000) will be visualised on
the display.
7.8 END OF WORK CYCLE
The present section describes, in particular, methods for emptying the various tubes in
the unit.
After having carried out the charging procedure, we recommend that you put the A/C plant through
a trial run to check that it is working correctly. To do this the operator should:
- maintain the high and low pressure tube connections but shutting of the HP-LP valves, switch on
the vehicle engine and wait a few minutes until the A/C plant is fully running.
-Check that the low pressure gauge indicator is positioned in the blue sector, while the indicator on
the high pressure gauge should be positioned in the red sector to be sure that the operating
pressures are correct.
To bring back the unit to non-operational conditions and to obtain optimum charging of the A/C
system the operator should:
- disconnect the high pressure (
HP
) tube from the vehicle and open the two valves
HP-LP
on the
control panel allowing gas contained in the tubes to be discharged through the low pressure
terminal to the vehicle. Wait until the
HP and
LP
pressure valves fall to about 2 bar, then
disconnect the remaining low-pressure tube (
LP
).
-Before switching off the station, run a RECOVERY cycle in manual mode so that any
residual refrigerant is the tubes is aspirated and the unit is ready to be used straight away
the next time it is required.
At this point it is possible to switch off the unit from the mains ON/OFF switch.
In the event that
the unit is not used for a certain period of time, we would advise disconnecting the machine
from the mains power supply and to store it in a safe place so that it is not subject to
misuse by unauthorised persons.
