4-CHANNEL T1 Port Card

 supports two T1 line codes: 

 AMI coding. 

 B8ZS coding. 

The 

4-CHANNEL T1 Port Card

 supports only transparent unframed format. 

 

1.6  Applications / Capabilities 

In the following example, the 

MULTIPLEXER UNIT 

utilizes an optical fiber 

connection between a pair of units to provide 4, 8, 12 or 16 channels of E1, T1, Datacom, or 

1 to 4 channels of Ethernet Bridge between the units.  

The timing scheme for the typical point-to-point application would set all connected 

E1 or T1 equipment to recovery (receive timing from the 

MULTIPLEXER UNITs
