General instructions
Please read this document carefully
before installing
the OmniDrive USB2 intern Pro/LF hardware and software
and follow the operating instructions which it contains.
The equipment should not be used without prior familiarization with the operating instructions. The equipment
should not be used beyond the limits which are specified in the technical data.
All hardware, software and documentation rights belong to CSM GmbH. Copies may be neither made nor used.
Hardware installation
CAUTION!

EMC hints have to be observed, see chapter "EMC" below.

PC
must be
switched off
for the hardware installation.

Modifications to the connector assembly must be applied with the PC powered down.
CAUTION!
Before you start with the hardware installation take care that there is no static electrical
discharge on the OmniDrive USB2 intern Pro/LF or on any other system component. Discharge
yourself by touching a grounded object before you remove the OmniDrive USB2 intern Pro/
LF from its package. Be always sure that you do not touch any component before you are well
discharged.
