before adding salt, as some new surfaces request no salt to be added when initially completed.

1000 litre of pool water.
The unit can operate on mineral/magnesium chloride salts and you should allow an extra 20-30% on
the ppm for these type of salts.
Salt should always be added to the shallow end of the pool and allowed to dissolve. Do not let the

By pressing [ TDS TEST ] a salt measurement is taken and a total TDS reading is displayed. The ideal

high and we suggest taking a sample to your local pool Professional for a more accurate result and
further assistance. For the FRESHWATER LOW SALT SYSTEM Model: VP25LS, the ideal TDS reading is
1500-2000ppm.
