5 Hardware installation
The DEC104S single height module uses the RM01, RM23, RM24, RM25 amd RM27
rear connectors and fits into all Crystal Vision rack frames. All modules can be plugged in
and removed while the frame is powered without damage.
Note:
The RM25 can only be used in the Indigo 2 and Indigo 4 frames.
5.1 Rear modules and signal I/O
The Indigo 4U frame will house up to 24 single height modules with up to three power
supplies. The FR2AV and Indigo 2U frame will house up to 12 single height modules and
dual power supplies. The FR1AV and Indigo 1U frame will house 6 single height
modules and a single power supply. The DTBAV and Indigo 1U high Desk Top Box both
have a built-in power supply and will house up to 2 single height modules.
