The GAIN controller is a volume level controller.
If the POWER LED lights up, the sound system is ready for operation. If not please refer to the chapter TROUBLE SHOOTING
on page 12.
The FREQ controller (low pass filter) adjusts the cut-off point of the frequency range to above. The cut-off frequency is conti-
nuously adjustable from 50 Hz to 100 Hz.
The REMOTE jack is for connecting the enclosed bass remote. With this controller you are able to adjust the bass level e.g. out
of the driver’s seat. Hence, the GAIN controller #3 is without function.
OPTIONAL: The high level inputs are only required, when your head unit is not equipped with RCA pre-amplifier outputs.
Connect the enclosed cable with plug with the suited jack of the enclosed wiring harness. Then connect the four ends with the
loudspeaker outputs of your head unit as following:
WHITE L+
WHITE-BLACK L-
GRAY R+
GRAY-BLACK R-
The INPUT RCA jacks must be connected with the RCA output jacks of the headunit. If your headunit is not equipped with pre-
amplifier outputs, you can use its speaker output cables as input signal. Please refer to secion #7 below. WARNING: Never use
the RCA jacks and the high level inputs (section #7) at the same time.
The PHASE push button allows to switch the phase from 0° to 180°. Hence, you are able to adjust the subwoofer perfect to the
vehicle’s acustics.
