4. Connect DSi 8M outputs either to DSi power amplifi ers or
to active-crossover inputs.
Option 1 – Connecting to DSi amplifi ers
If you have Crown DSi power amplifi ers, connect the DSi 8M HD-15
outputs to the HD-15 connectors on the DSi amplifi ers as in Figures 3.1
and 3.2. Full-range signals are sent from each DSi 8M HD-15 I/O
con nector.
To simplify wiring, the DSi amplifi er has built-in presets that determine
signal routing. Section 4, Table 1 of the DSi Series Operation Manual
shows all the available presets. In this example, the DSi 1000 amplifi er
is set to the JBL 3632 preset, which is a highpass fi lter for the JBL 3632
MF and HF drivers, and a lowpass fi lter for the JBL 3632 LF drivers.
