Sawing with guide bar for parallel cutting / circle
cutting
Circle cutting (see fig. 6)
[CT15189]
Guide bar for parallel cutting / circle cutting
18
allows
circular sawing at a set radius
•
Mark the circle to be cut and make a hole in the
centre (the diameter of the hole should be equal to the
diameter of locating pin
17
)
•
If you do not intend to start sawing from the edge of
the workpiece, make a hole at the starting point as in
figure 6 (the diameter of the hole should be over the
width of saw blade
15
)
•
Loosen wing screws
8

•
Turn over guide bar for parallel cutting / circle
cutting
18
and place as in figure 6.
•
Move the power tool to the starting point If you do not
intend to start sawing from the edge of the workpiece,
insert saw blade
15
to the hole made at the starting point
•
Set the operating radius for circular sawing moving
guide bar for parallel cutting / circle cutting
18
till the
hole made for locating pin
17
coincides with the central
hole of the circle
•
Insert locating pin
17
into guide bar for parallel
cutting / circle cutting
18
and simultaneously into the
central hole of the circle
•
Tighten wing screws
8
to fix guide bar
18
for circular /
parallel sawing
•
Start sawing along the marked circle by one hand
and holding locating pin
17
by the other hand
Use narrow sawing blades 15 to perform
circular or curvilinear sawing to improve
quality and make the operation easier.
Straight sawing (see fig. 7)
The parallel guide for parallel sawing
18
allows saw-
ing along the existing straight edge as well as cutting
straight bars of the same width (see fig. 7.1).
[CT15189]
•
Loosen wing screws
8

•
Position the parallel guide for parallel sawing
18
(see fig. 7.1).
•
Set the needed sawing distance
•
Tighten wing screws
8
to fix guide bar
18
for circular /
parallel sawing
•
Saw by pressing the parallel guide for parallel saw-
ing
18
to the side edge of the blank part
Similar results can be reached by attach-
ing a board to a work part with screw
clamps and using such board as a sec-
ondary limit stop. Perform sawing by
moving power tool along the limit stop while
pressing the side of base plate 11 to the side of the
board (see fig. 7.2).
Cutting angle adjustment (see fig. 8-9)
The design of the power tool facilitates making angled
saw cuts by angling the case of the power tool The base
plate
11
of the power tool contains a scale
12
which
marks the angles of the casing of the power tool (the step
is 15°) If additional measuring instruments are used, one
may position the casing of the power tool at any angle
(within the limits specified in the technical data table).
[CT15212]
•
Use Allen key
16
to loosen bolt
21
(see fig. 8).
•
Shift the base plate
11
forward (depending upon the
previously installed angle of the casing) and select the
needed angle of the casing using the readings of the
scale
12
or the readings of the additional measure-
ment instrument
•
Use Allen key
16
to tighten bolt
21

•
Perform sawing as described above
[CT15189]
•
Loosen locking lever
13
(see fig. 9).
•
Shift the base plate
11
forward and select the needed
angle of the casing using the readings of the scales
12
or
the readings of the additional measurement instrument
•
Tighten locking lever
13

•
Perform sawing as described above
Power tool maintenance / preventive
measures
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Cleaning of the power tool
An indispensable condition for a safe long-term exploi-
tation of the power tool is to keep it clean Regularly
flush the power tool with compressed air thought the
ventilation slots

Transportation of the power tools
•
Categorically not to drop any mechanical impact on
the packaging during transport
•
When unloading / loading is not allowed to use
any kind of technology that works on the principle of
clamping packaging
Environmental protection
Recycle raw materials instead of
disposing as waste.
Power tool, accessories and packaging should
be sorted for environment-friendly recycling
The plastic components are labelled for categorized
recycling
These instructions are printed on recycled paper
manufactured without chlorine
The manufacturer reserves the possibility to introduce changes.
