Six Channel Amplifier
Reference Manual
A
Level control
is provided for each channel. These level
controls are located on the back panel, providing a mea-
sure of security against unauthorized system changes.
The
Dual/Mono switches
are located on the back panel
below the level controls.
Mono mode combines the two
amplifier output channels selected into a single mono chan-
nel with twice the voltage of a single channel. This means
the output will be much more powerful! It does this by bridg-
ing the outputs, and it requires special output wiring.
Do
NOT use the black (negative) outputs when the Mono
mode is selected
.
Connecting anything to the negative
terminals may result in polarity problems. When Mono mode
is selected, only the odd-numbered channel’s level control
will work.
4.4 Controls
The
Power switch
is located on the front panel so you can
easily turn the amplifier on and off. If you ever need to make

turning on your amplifier:
1. Turn down the level of your audio source. For ex-
ample, set your mixer’s volume to “

2. Turn down the Level controls of the amplifier.
3. Turn on the Power switch. The Power indicator should
glow. After the 4-second start delay, the Signal Pres-
ence, Clip and Temp. indicators should function nor-
mally.
4. After the turn-on delay, turn up the level of your audio
source to the desired level.
5. Turn up the Level controls on the back panel of the
amplifier until the desired loudness or power level is
achieved.
6. Turn down the level of your audio source to its normal
range.
