9. Close off the Velcro tongue-fastener (6).
10. Slide the ratchet strap into the opening
provided under the luffing buckle and set the
correct tension for you (Fig. L).
Note! To find the right tension for your
foot, push the latch diagonally upwards
and move the ratchet strap to the cor-
rect position.
11. Close the quick fastener (“CLICK”).
Taking skates off
1. Push in the pressure slide (1) of the quick-re-
lease fastener (2) in the direction of the arrow
and open the quick-release fastener (see
Fig. E).
2. Press the latch (4) and pull the ratchet strap
(5) out of the opening of the latch (see Fig. F).
3. Open the Velcro tongue-fastener (6) (Fig. G).
4. Set the slider of the quick-release fastener (7)
to OPEN and loosen the quick-release fasten-
er (Fig. H).
Maintenance
Replacing the brake (Fig. M)
Note: Worn brakes do not function
properly.
An angle of more than 40 degrees be-
tween frame and surface is an indica-
tion of worn brakes.
If the distance between the brake pad
and the ground becomes too large
(>17mm), the brake pad must be re-
placed.
• Unscrew the brake block screw (13) of the
inline skate with the enclosed hexagon socket
wrenches.
• Pull out the brake block screws and remove the
brake block from the brake block holder (12).
• Attach the new brake block (9) firmly to the
brake block holder using the brake block
screws.
Replacing the rollers (Fig. N)
Important!
• See the chapter “Technical data”:
Rollers with a different diameter can
change the driving characteristics and
may endanger the user.
Therefore, please do not use if the
rollers cannot be installed correctly.
Never install larger rollers than the
original rollers of the inline skates.
• Please note the following for the axle
bolts:
After loosening the screw connection,
you must apply self-locking paint to
the thread of the screws again!
We recommend that you always fol-
low this as a precaution. Self-securing
lacquer is available in DIY stores or
specialist shops.
Rollers wear out. This wear depends on many
factors, such as the style of skating, the floor,
the size and weight of the user, the weather
conditions, the material of the wheels and their
hardness. It is therefore necessary to replace
them regularly.
1. Screw the axle screws (15) of the inline skate
out of the frame (14) using the Allen wrench-
es.
2. Pull out the axle bolts and remove the roller
(16).
3. Reinstall the new roller in the frame and fix it
with the axle bolts.
After replacing the wheels:
If after the replacement the roller grinds side-
ways or touches the frame at the circumference,
please do not use the roller! Make sure that all
screws are still tight after the first few minutes
of skating and that nothing has come loose or
loosened.
Retighten the rollers individually to ensure that
they run smoothly and that there is no noise from
the bearings.
Important!
New rollers upgrade the inline skates
overall. This changes the distance to the
ground and therefore also the braking
properties.
For this reason, adjust to the brake pad,
or replace the brake pad.
