SELF-TEST
When the vehicle’s gearshift is placed in “R”, the system will perform a self-test. This will test all of the
connected sensors to make sure that they are working as intended. If there are no issues found during
this test, the system will give a single audible alert. If there is a damaged sensor, the system will give
and audible alert 3 times. If you are using an optional display, the display read out will show which
sensor is faulting.
NOTE:
- If the system gives 3 audible alerts (meaning 1 or more of the sensors have damage) the remaining
sensors will continue to work.
