Slot 8: C2I-MC2-CNRFGWA
The MC2W provides RF control from Crestron one-way RF transmitters including
ST panels, CNRFHT button transmitters, CNWM wireless mouse and the MT-500
MiniTouch. The port can be configured in SIMPL Windows to work on either 434
MHz or 418MHz.

By setting the FREQUENCY input high (either from a logic operation or forcing the
input high), the RF frequency is set to 418 MHz. If the input is low (default), the RF
frequency is set to 434 MHz.
Using the Viewport utility, the current RF frequency setting can be viewed by
clicking
Diagnostics | Report Plug in Control Cards
or pressing
F3
.
Slot 9: C2I-MC2-FRONT PANEL
The Slot 9 MC2W front panel symbol represents internal hardware and is not user
programmable (not supported in this device).
Programming the MC2W as a Slave Device
To incorporate the MC2W as a system slave, locate the MC2W Remote Cresnet
Processing symbol in the
Device library
and drag it to the C2NET-Device slot of the
master device. In this example, we are using a PRO2 as the master. The PRO2
system view shows the MC2W as a slave device in slot 9 with a Net ID of 03
(assuming that no other C2NET devices are present as shown in the following
illustration).

NOTE:
The first device in a system is preset with a NET ID of 03, when its symbol
is added to the C2NET-Device slot. Additional devices are assigned different NET
ID numbers as they are added.
