CAMIDSPT RS-232 Port A Generic Camera for C2N-CAMIDSPT Input and
Output Signal Descriptions
SIGNALS FUNCTION(S)
[tx$] More advanced signal processing can be done through serial strings and
the tx$ (transmit) input line on the symbol.
[rx$] More advanced signal processing can be done through serial strings and
the rx$ (receive) output line on the symbol.
[enable] A high signal on this input enables symbol. If the signal is low, the symbol is
disabled.
str1 The C2N-CAMIDSPT RS-232 port is capable of receiving complex serial
data in the form of serial data strings on this input line.
str2 The C2N-CAMIDSPT RS-232 port is capable of sending complex serial data
in the form of serial data strings on this output line.
delimiter When present, the delimiter is appended to every string of text in the port
definition (both transmitted and received strings).
To configure the serial driver, double-click the serial driver and go to the Serial
Settings tab (refer to the following figure). Then specify the communication format
that the controlled device requires.

Valid settings for the serial port are 7 1 E, 8 1 N, and 8 1 E. The default baud rate is
9600.
