Product Information
The CC-IPE Module fits in the Input Processing bay located on
the rear panel of Crest Audio CKS, CKV & CKX Series Power
Processing amplifiers. It includes provision for external source
switching from the A & B program inputs to a line level page
input. A DC voltage ranging from +5 to +24
VDC
(at 40mA) will
enable a relay that switches in the external paging signal. An inter-
nal jumper on the module can be used to set whether the page
input is enabled when voltage is applied, or enabled when voltage
is not applied to the relay allowing the use of normally open or
normally closed switches to activate the page function. An inter-

level attenuators for channels A & B are provided on the panel
with removable knobs for security. The Page audio level can also
be controlled by independent A & B channel level attenuators that
are mounted internally and can be adjusted via access holes in the
module panel.

The module shall plug in to Crest Audio CKS, CKV and CKX Power Processing amplifiers in
the Input Processing bay. Barrier strip input connections shall be provided which feed two
electronically balanced inputs. A page input barrier strip, balanced line level feed shall be acti-
vated by the page enable relay. This in turn shall be activated via the application of +5 to +24
VDC at the page enable connector. An internal jumper shall provide the option of inverting the
function of the relay so that normally open or normally closed switches can be used to activate
the page function. Two removable-knob gain pots shall be provided that control the level of
each input. An internal input sensitivity/voltage gain jumper shall be provided with selections
of 0dBu, X20 and X40. The module shall be designated the Crest Audio model CC-IPE.
