Formatting Your Player

You can format your player if your player gets corrupted and starts performing
erratically. Before formatting your player, back up the files in your player first
because all songs and data files are deleted during formatting.

1. Connect your player to your computer's USB port using the supplied USB

cable.

Double-click the

My Computer

icon on your desktop.

Click the

Zen Neeon Media Explorer

icon.

Click the

Initialize

button.

After the formatting is complete, make sure you stop your player before

disconnecting it from your computer. For instructions on stopping your player,
see

Step 5: Stopping Your Player Properly

Note

If you are prompted to choose the file system for formatting, select only

FAT32
