ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 7 — Angle Braces:
Ensure the structure is in the place it will be used. Make
any needed ground adjustments before proceeding.
Use a level to determine that all horizontals are level and
posts are plumb.
Fasten two Angle Braces (A) to the Platform Left using two
1/4 x 2-1/2" Hex Bolt Assemblies as shown. Fasten the
bottom of the braces to the adjacent posts using 1/4 x 3" Lag
Screws with Flat Washers.
Be sure to drill 3/16" diameter
pilot holes in the posts before using the Lag Screws.
Fasten an Angle Brace (A) to both the Platform Front and
Platform Back using one 1/4 x 2" Hex Bolt Assembly each
as shown. Fasten the bottom of the braces to the adjacent
posts using 1/4 x 2-1/2" Hex Bolt Assemblies.
STEP 8 — Deck Boards:
Locate the two End Deck Boards (R), six Narrow Deck
Boards (S) and four Short Deck Boards (T) lay them across
the platform supports in the arrangement shown at right.
Fasten the End Deck Boards (R) between the Posts using
two #10 x 1-5/8" Screws each. Be sure to
drill 1/8" diameter
pilot holes
to prevent splitting of the supports.
Align the Narrow Deck Boards (S) tight against each other to
limit the possibility of clothing being snagged when children
use the slide. Space the Short Deck Boards (T) evenly,
making sure not to overhang the Platform Right.
Fasten all
using 1/8" pilot holes and #10 x 1-5/8" Screws.

STEP 9 — Stringer:
Hold the Stringer (U) flat up under the center of the deck
boards. Secure the Stringer using #10 x 1-5/8" Screws
through the center hole of each deck board. Don't let the tips
of the screws protrude below the Stringer.
