STEP 24 - Slide:
Position the Slide onto the Slide Mount (K) through the open-
ing prepared in earlier steps. Center the Slide in the opening
and pull it tight to the platform until it stops against the edge
of the front Platform End (V). Make sure and that the holes
in the Slide are over the Slide Mount (K).
Check that the Slide extends out perpendicular from the play
set.
Drill 5/16" holes through the Slide, Slide Mount (K) and Plat-
form Boards using the holes in the Slide as a guide. Fasten
the slide using one 1/4 x 3" Truss Head Bolt and one 1/4"
Weld Nut for each hole.
STEP 25 - Roof:
Note: The hardware to attach the Roof Assembly can be
found in the Roof Assembly Box. The Roof Assemblies (AA)
are heavy; be sure to have adequate assistance to position
and fasten each side.
Position the Roof Assemblies on the Corner Posts with the
holes at the top of the Corner Posts aligned with the holes in
the Roof Rafters. The angled end of the Roof Rafter should
be on the inside of the play set. Fasten each Roof Assembly
to the Corner Posts using two 5/16 x 4-1/2" Hex Bolt Assem-
blies. Do not tighten the fasteners completely until after the
next step.
STEP 26 - Ceiling Joist:
Lift both Roof Assemblies (AA) up until the ends touch. Ad-
just the Roof Assemblies (AA) so that the angled ends are
even with each other. With the counter-bored holes facing
out, fasten a Ceiling Joist (X) to the outside of the Roof Raf-
ters on each side. Use one 5/16 x 2" Hex Bolt Assembly in
each end of each Ceiling Joist (Y).
Fasten the remaining Ceiling Joist (X) to the Roof Rafter in
the center of the Roof Assembly (AA). Use a 5/16 x 2" Hex
Bolt Assembly in each end of the Ceiling Joist (Y). Tighten
the Bolts holding the Roof Assemblies to the Corner Posts
STEP 27 - Roof Blocks:
Attach a Roof Block (Z) to each Center Roof Rafter using a
5/16 x 4-1/2" Hex Bolt Assembly , as shown.
Please note the smaller 2 x 3 Roof Rafters have been omit-
ted from the illustration.
