• York step 12. Due to the lower clubhouse panels that will
be installed later, the Angle Braces on the back and sides
of the gym are not needed.
• York step 14. Do not install the stringer flanges.
• York step 19. Install the 9ft Beam in the position shown
above. Instructions and hardware are in the 9' Swing Beam
Leg Carton (63076-303).
• York step 24. Do Not install the End Panel, Panel Frame or
Gable Fan at the end the slide is to be mounted.
• York step 32. Safety Rails are not needed.
• Once the basic Yorktown tower 1 is assembled, assemble
Yorktown tower 2 about 92" away from the Yorktown. The
porches should align.
• York step 2. Do not install the Sandbox Center on the front
of the tower. Use the Floor Transition from the Yorktown
Play Floor (63063-101). See page 2 of the Yorktown Play
Floor instructions. Secure the Sandbox backs but wait to
install the floors.
• York step 12. Due to the lower clubhouse panels that will

• York step 14. Do not install the stringer flanges.
• York step 18. After installing the wall support, move the
tower into place 92" from the other tower. Use the bridge
rails from SJ951-102 to assure the alignment is exact.
• Mount the Bridge (SJ951-102) between the upper porches
on tower 1 and tower 2. Leave off the wall slats until after
installing the Bubble and Tic-Tac-Toe panels
• Continue assembly of tower two.
• York step 19. No Beam will be mounted to this tower.
• York step 32. Safety Rails are not needed.
• Wait to install the Wall Slats until after the whole play set is
complete.
• On both towers, install the Yorktown porch play floor
(63063-101) followed by the Lex play floor (SC910-800Q).
Install the cleats and stringers for both before installing the
deck boards.
• On both towers, install the lower clubhouse panels as
shown in the instructions included with the Door & Window
Panel (40460-402). Do not install the end window panels
where the ice cream stands will mount.
• Install Ice Cream Stands (63081-102) on each tower. Each
facing the other.
• Install the Yorktown Porch Play Walls (63064-101) on both
towers. The openings should face opposite directions as
shown on the first page of this guide.
• Install the shutters and flower boxes from the Clubhouse
Window Packs (63073-101) above each Ice Cream Stand.
• Mount the Slide Direct Adapter (63091-111) to the end of
tower 1.
• Install the Yorktown Direct Adapter Panel (63065-101) be-
low the Direct Adapter.
• Attach the foot to the 7ft Rocket Slide (15140-400) and
mount the slide to the Direct Adapter.
• Mount the Super Wave Slide (15166-400) to end of the up-
per porch on tower 1.
• Mount the Fire Pole (AA917-603), Access Ladder (SH946-
102), Ramp (SH922-800Q), and Chin-up Bar (AA918-603)
to tower 1 in the positions shown.
