ADJUSTABLE TORQUE CLUTCH
Your drill is equipped with an adjustable torque clutch
for driving different types of screws into different
materials. The proper setting depends on the type of
material and the size of screw you are using.
TO ADJUST TORQUE

Identify the four torque indicator settings
located on the front of your drill.
See Figure 8.

Rotate adjusting ring to the desired setting.

For driving small screws.

For driving screws into soft material.

For driving screws in hard wood.

For powerful screw driving or drilling.

CHUCK KEY STORAGE
See Figure 9.
Your drill has a chuck key storage area. If you decide
to change the chuck to one that requires the use of a
chuck key, the chuck key can be placed in the storage
area located on the bottom of your drill as shown in
figure 9 when not in use.
